What is Terzepatide?

 

Tirzepatide is a medication that can be administered through injections that initially were used to help treat patients with type 2 diabetes to support blood sugar level management. However, physicians quickly found out that that tirzepatide offers weight loss benefits as well, making tirzepatide an effective addition to medical weight loss programs. It works both by lowering your blood sugar levels while simultaneously slowing down the digestive process, making it effective for weight loss because a slowed down digestive system means that food stays in the system for longer, signaling to the brain that the body is fuller for longer. This in turn makes following a calorie deficient diet much easier to maintain, which is one of the key components of a medical weight loss program. 

 

How often do you inject Tirzepatide?

 

The most common administration of tirzepatide is through weekly injections. However, the dose of the medication is what will differ from case to case as it is started on a very small dose (usually 2.5 milligrams) weekly to make sure that the body does not experience bad reactions or side effects to the medication. This low dose is continued for at least four weeks and then gradually increased to make sure that the body is closely monitored for any negative side effects.  Your tirzepatide physician will decide if it is safe to increase the dose and by how much is safe for each individual case. The dose will not typically be increased to more than 15 mg per week.  

 

How long does it take for Tirzepatide to work?

 

When used to help manage and lower blood sugar levels many patients will find that it brings their blood sugar levels down to their target A1C goal within 8 to 12 weeks.  When used as part of a medical weight loss program alongside a calorie deficient diet and regular exercise, patients usually began to see results from tirzepatide within 8 to 12 weeks as well, but this timeline is a bit less predictable due to the nature of weight loss programs.  Both timelines of tirzepatide can vary quite a bit depending on how the patient physically responds to the medication as some people may be able to increase the dosage fairy quickly while others may need to stay on a lower dosage for a while and get the shots less frequently if their bodies are not responding well to the medication.  The result timeline for weight loss also greatly depends on how strict the patient is being in following the weight loss program.

Labwork Needed Before You Can Start Tirzepatide Weight Loss Injections:

 

The following lab work will need to be completed prior to starting our Tirzepatide weight loss program.  If lab work has been completed within the last 12 months that lab work can be used to start the program.

CMP (Complete Metabolic Panel)

TSH Lab (Thyroid)

Please note, you may not qualify if you suffer from hypertension, cardiac illness, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, or if you are pregnant or nursing, as you may not be healthy enough for this type of treatment. Anyone with personal or family history of some thyroid cancers should not use Semaglutide.

 

How do you Start Taking Tirzepatide Weight Loss Injections and What is the Cost?

 

The cost of our Tirzepatide Weight loss Injection program is

 

$450 per month for the first 3 months 

*Current promotion if you choose 90 days when you start the program you only pay $1199 

Month 4 the cost is $550 and month 5 onward is $599 per month.

 

This  will include your doctor visits plus the medication and supplies shipped directly to your home. You will then inject the physician prescribed dose at home once weekly as directed by the physician.

To get started with our tirzepatide weight loss injection program we will need to review your lab work and medical history.  If you have lab work that has been completed within the last 12 months we can use the results or if you need lab work we can order the labs for you.  For your medical history please print, fill out and email back the pdf attachment below or if you prefer you can also arrive a few minutes early for your appointment to fill out the necessary paperwork.  Once your lab work is complete or if you already have results please submit the results to Living Well Wellness.  Once your lab work is reviewed a representative from Living Well Wellness will give you a call to schedule your first consultation with our US licensed physicians.  After your consultation you will be scheduled with a follow up visit and your medication and supplies will be shipped directly to your home.
